Lake Stink

Do you know what the Great Salt Lake smells like? It smells like sulfur. Yup. Rotten Egg Fart kind of sulfur.

Great Salt Lake

And right now i'ts knocking on my back door. I'ts playing on my swing-set and really wants my kids to come out and play. But it especially would like to be invited inside for cookies and milk.

In winter we get Lake Effect Snow.

But in the summer we get Lake Effect Stink. Even where I live-- 30 miles downwind! The wind churns up the lake and then heads South. Happens every time.

Knock-Knock.
Lake
Stink
wants a playdate.

I had no idea that the great Salt Lake was so stinky. Sounds gross! Maybe you shouldn't host any play dates in your back yard!

I so dislike that smell. I am so sorry you are having to smell that! Any good candles at home you can burn?

Yeah, it is pretty bad! I am so sorry you have to deal with that. I wonder how long it takes to become desensitized to it. I am glad though that it chose to play at your house instead of mine. We used to live in downtown Ogden and the dog food factory was always ringing the bell wanting to play. Ick!
