Definately have problems with Definitely... that's a major weak spot for moi!
For some reason, I always have a problem with the word...surprise or is it suprise....oh heck you know the word!!!
I have to many to list. You can also add for me that spell check isn't great as it's usually in American English and there are alot of differences in English - English. I'm swear that often I'm not misspelling - it's supposed to be like that!
Oh, I love spell check too - I am not a good speller.
Take care - Kellan
My most mis-spelled word is definitly...as you can see. I just can't spell it!
occassion ocassion occasion
They all look wrong to me. I love Firefox with it's automatic spellchecker.
I heart spell checker!!
I'm a pretty good speller...
I had trouble with receive, but in grammar school they taught us to remember, "i before e, except after c" and I haven't misspelled it since. And for "independent", remember that an ant isn't independent. Luckily I was in school back when schools actually taught you useful stuff.
I always misspell the same ones too. You would think I would try to figure it out.
Recpie/recipe that one always gets me. I wish coment section had spell check.
I have trouble with some of these same words!
I have sooo many! I often have a dictionary online open when typing so I can put a word in there to see how it is spelled. Today I had to look up the word embarrassed. Two "r" one "r" two "s" one "s". Those types of things always get me.
I know this is all in good fun, but I think I'm more worried that our country can't spell. My 4th grade son didn't work on spelling ONE TIME the entire year.
Hey...I wanted to tell you that I deleted you and added you several times...all with the same results..sorry...but I'm still clickin' you every day!!
I'm a horrible speller and have poor grammar too. I've been a bad speller since the fourth grade when I was in the lowest group. Oh, the shame...
Anything with double-letters gets a second guess from me - like
obsess
access
And a few that make me think twice:
affect/effect
ensure/insure
oy. I wish spell check worked automatically on blogger!
Rhythm.
I was in my junior year of COLLEGE before I could spell that word without a dictionary! I was never able to remember the order of the h's and the y.
Great post.
Um, did you notice that you misspelled "especially"? Oh, and "Expletive". And "creative". OMG. Was this a joke?
Maybe it was, because a lot of them are misspelled, LOL.
Nevermind.
