For today. A little then and now... (And no I'm not apologizing for being late with this or for running a back to school post...or even for totally copying AliMartell, sorry THIS is momblogging after all..BLOGGING about my mommy life right?)
First the Now..
And a week later all three of them on TK's first day of Pre-K! No Sniffles from mom on that one...Straight to get a pedicure. (Oh how I wish(!)--had to run errands--get his vaccine chart to the school!)
And for The Later...
This is last year's first day of school. Sassy ain't so sassy, and TK hadn't started his little pre-school yet, and the girls were in a charter school complete with uniforms...
How's this for a year's change?

How cute they all look! I'm loving the dog ears! They've changed alot, TK looks so grown up...can't tell in pictures that there were ever stitches...
They all look so cute! I went back and read your 911 story. Wow. What a day/time that was. It was awful enough living in Utah when that happened, I can't imagine it being in your own backyard. You know 911 is how we got Matthew. I realized you just can't put off important things, like sweet kids, util another day. Might not get that next day. I will be back to read hubby's story tomorrow!
They are adorable! So grown up...pretty soon they'll be running out the door so fast you won't be able to grab the camera before they are saying "not now mom, I'm late! gimme the car keys and some money to go to the mall after school!"...and you'll be all like "wishful thinking...get over here and smile like you mean it!"...now go give them a big old bear hug!
It is crazy how much they change in a year!!! They look fantastic. I love the crimped hair! I am going to go read your 9/11 story now. Have a great day.
It is amazing how much these little ones can change in a year isn't it?!?! I love the haircuts on the girls. Adorable. I like my girls with their hair cut like that. They're both growing it out right now, but they desperately need a trim.
You 9/11 story brought tears to my eyes--of course. I'm so glad everything was ok with your family.
What cute kiddos!! They did change alot in a year!!
Wow--all grown up in one year. Is 5th-6th grade when it happens? I don't think I'm ready.
Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet words! You have a fun place here!
Cute CUTE kids!! They shouldn't be allowed to change that much in a year!!! I know I'm a total dweeb, but it freaks me out when I see pics of my kids from a year ago--they change so much!!
I just read your 911 story. It gave me chills. Wow, to actually have been that close. I am so glad your little family was safe. I remember the phone call that morning, when my mom told me to turn on the news. Paul's work sent everyone home that day and we sat in front of our television in a daze. I will never forget that awful day. God Bless America!
Love the pictures! First day shots are classic. I'm so glad so many families still do them.
Ah, the 6th grade attitude. I taught 6th grade for 9 years; they're a fun and special age.
I love the now and later concept. How do they like the new school? Are they missing the uniforms terribly ;). I just bought my kids new clothes today. I tried to last until October, but couldn't do it. Oh! Well! I'll still let them wear their shorts until then. I still didn't buy the gym clothes. Chase outgrew his in about a month and they cost a fortune. I'll wait a bit or make them wear their uniforms.
Thanks for your comment BTW. Maybe I'll have to road trip it up to your new place and hand deliver a pumpkin. I also need to hand deliver one to Wise Young Mommy in Louisiana. It'll be a cross country road trip. Don't I wish!
When are we going to have a TGNO (twitter girl's night out) again?
Look how much they've grown! Cute kiddos. Sooo adorable.
their faces tell the story...super fun.
Love the uniform idea...Darling kiddios!!
Awwww- what a great compilation of pics!!!
Okay, now I'm off to read your 911 story--
So glad you liked the Is Eight Enough post--it's always so neat to read people's hearts and hear how their families were knit together--
Blessings!
Your kids are so cute!
WOW they have changed in a years time. Love the pics.

I love then and now pics...sniff-sniff. Gorgeous kiddos you've got there.
Isn't it amazing how much they change in just 12 short months?
I'm so glad you played along. What a great twist on the back to school posts. How was the pedi, anyway? Looking forward to the 9/11 story. Yours really touched me.
