Or Half Empty?

Broken Glass

Sometimes I'm just the glass half shattered.

I swear I don't see being a half empty type as a bad thing? It's more like I follow the mantra, idea, philosophy--"If I worry about it--it cannot happen." Or maybe it's the boyscout in me? Be Prepared...if I plan for the worst it won't happen, right?

My Utah house is giving me stress right now. Will it sell? Can we find renters? If so--will they work out? Will they trash the place? Should we allow pets? If we can't get renters, like, how many months before we get foreclosed on and go bankrupt?? Will they throw us in debtors prison and only feed us rancid bread and weevil water? Will we look like the awful couple from Les Miserables singing about pickpocketing from dead people? (Most of them are goners so they won't miss much!)

See? I'm just making plans. Isn't that okay?
Someone please fill my glass already.

I'm sure it can be stressful where you are now...but I am a sure fire 1/2 full kind of girl...So let's say you take an umbrella, just to be safe, and then it never rains...and now you've spent a beautiful day saddled with an umbrella...lol...good luck!

Trying to fill it with empathy. Our house has been on the market for 4 months and no one is interested. Crossing my fingers that everything becomes Clear.

Oh...I feel for you. I really do. That is soooo unbelievably stressful. I am usually a half full kind of gal myself, but not this week (or last week). I am half empty with you. :(

I am a half empty girl too...try as I might to be peppy and optomistic I just can't do it.

But here is my attempt, just for you.

Hey! Maybe Donald Trump will buy your house and lease it back to you like he did for Ed McMahon!

I always figure if I worry about it cannot happen and I don't like to be blindsided. I hope it all goes well for you. Are you still doing lunch on Friday?

Way too much stress! The market is so tough right now...I hope it sells soon! When is your official move?

I know you are stressed. Are you having to deal with the kids starting school too?

Oh, by the way, I just realized that I "borrowed" your post title and I did not even know it. Sorry.

I am a glass 1/2 full type girl. I always say in my head uplifting things. When we were trying to sell our house I would say my house sells quickly and easily, and each time it has. Good luck on yours, I will start sending out the good vibes!

LOL..let me just add to the spiral downward...there's an earthquake, huge wind storm, tornado (has happened here), and the largest snow pack in 20 years just took out half your house..and you are still bankrupt..te-he. that just took it from half empty to dry!!!

To fill back up...I am truly excited to know that someone else will know what KF means and where it is at, that we can swap all the funny adventures happening there, and knowing that you will find a peace there that I enjoy coming "home" to every chance I get...A BIG FYI...

The drivers there pull out in front of you as if in a huge hurry and drop the speed 10-20 miles less the posted sigh/sign. So leave 30 mins early (accounting for "standard" time ha,ha) and you will be okay....

Oh my heck! I was featured. And it didn't hurt or anything!
