I can soooooo relate! The only bad grades my child got last year were the ones I had something to do with. It took me 10 years to graduate from college, because I kept skipping class. Do they think I would immediately get over my inability to complete an assignment on time just because I am a mother? And, don't get me started on tardies and absences. It is only the first week of school and I have already kept him home a day. Isn't blood more important than anything, especially school? The crazy thing? He's only starting second grade and so far, he's been my only one in school. And... I still have hives!
...And I'm not the only one. There are all these other zombie mommies walking around PathMark with a toddler in tow and no groceries in the cart, talking or attempting to talk on their cell phones. We keep looking at each other with these questioning stares, wondering...

Back to school has me WAY down...I am a Mom or 2 elementary kids and a Teacher! My summer freedom is about to come to a screeching halt...
I'm thrilled that school starts in TWO weeks. Despite the homework.
I only have a preschooler....school can't start soon enough for me!!!!
