And they DON'T get a lot too.
While coloring a picture of a sheep (lesson on the Good Shepherd of course).
One kids says:
"Is it okay if I color my lamby blue? Because the sky is blue & that's where Jesus Lives!?"
And that was just fine with me. (What are you gonna do, make fun of a five year old?)
When I offered the next kid some cotton to glue on his Sheep, he said:
"Nah, my lamby is going to be cold."
What? Should I scold the poor thing for freezing his sheep? Oh well, bald sheep are God's children too.
Later on the same day...
I yawned. Then I said, "boy I'm tired, I need a nap". Likely dreaming about that elusive enigma known as the Sunday Afternoon Nap.
Several kids at once said:
"But not right now! Then you can't teach us."
And another boy said:
"Yeah, then I'd have to be the teacher?"
And wouldn't that be fun? A 5 year old teaching the other 5-ers? I'd like to watch through the glass mirror on that one! I can hear it...And God told Eve; you are in trouble. Time-Out!

LOL! Little kids in church are adorable! I taught 1st grade CCD last year and they were just so sweet about everything!
Hey you! Thanks for visiting me at Jambalaya...seriously, I hate it there! lol!! I hate the design, the name...all of it..ack! I have been wanting to move my original blogger blog over to that domain name, but can't get my readers to move over there....I do a lot of paid posts on my original blog so I can't close it just yet. My husband graduates from nursing school this December though...and then I won't need to pimp my blog so much...and I can close it and make the final move to sheeshamoley.com ...I think I'm going to merge my crafty stuff over to my main blog(jennyupthehill.com) because I've started school again too and I flat out don't have time to update it...sheesh...I've just dumped my whole brain right here on ya...and I'm not even going to go back and read to see if it makes any sense...because I'm a rebel! lol!!
and yes, young ones are a hoot!! I've been keeping a journal of funny things I've heard kids say...they are hilarious!
