Unshowered, Hanging-out in Easy Chair, with Laptop

It’s not cute.

But it could be worse.

It’s name is Bunionectomy. It's twin enemies are: Throb and Swell. It's best friend is Loretab.

It looks like this:

And for some stinkin’ reason it really wants potato chips. No. Not the healthy crap that seems to be only thing in the house (whose great idea was that—buying good for you snack food??) It REALLY wants the nasty kind of chips. The kind with ridges. The kind with heart attack amounts of salt. Enough salt so that you have to wipe your hands on the back of the couch every time you eat one.

Oh and Chunky Monkey.

And so far. Whatever it wants, it gets. Next I think it wants ‘New Piano’.

I'm in the market for a new piano too, after the tuner gave us the "too hopeless to tune" discount on my old spinet.

Sorry about the pain. You definitely need some ice cream for it I think.

Maybe we should have a post surgery party, and we will both eat all the junk food we want! Get feeling better real soon.

You need a spa treament when you get back on your feet. So, the economic stimulus did not get the piano maybe sympathy will! Should we all blackmail him with pictures of our pianos?

This is one of the funniest "recovery" posts I've ever read. Hope today is a great day for no swelling and pain, lots of icecream and a new piano!

Thanks for caring you internet friends you. Get this...I just received an 'anon' knock at the door and Ruffles and Ben&Jerry were waiting there. I couldn't get to the door...(as if) and my 4yrold told me it was his friend's mom!

How sneaky is that, I forget real people in my real life might read these posts!?

OMG! I had this done on my left foot 9 (was it that long ago?) years ago. The bunion healed well, but I've had other troubles with that foot. given that, I'd still get it done. It helped.
I recommend a pedicure as soon as you're out of bandages and casts. and for now? Pizza.

Hey, thanks for leaving a comment over at my place!

I hope you're feeling better soon - that sounds painful.

I'm glad you have the company of my good friends, Ben and Jerry. My favorite is the Twisted flavor with the brownies and cookie dough. Mmm, ridiculously delicious.

Sounds painful! And I can sympathize, sort of. I have a bunionnette. Which basically is a bunion on the baby toe side of the foot. It was a present from my dear son while I was pregnant with him and got slightly bigger during my second pregnancy. I was hoping it would shrink down with the rest of me after delivery but it never did. Talk about the gift that keeps on giving!!

Feel better soon!

Oh my heck! I was featured. And it didn't hurt or anything!
